Relationship with: Stellar Loussier
Though he doesn't interact with her as much as Auel, Sting still cares deeply for Stellar. With Stellar, Sting takes up the role of big brother to make sure she is careful and doesn't get hurt, since she is always daydreaming or spacing out. He is kind to her and is always the one to relay messages to her or defend her against attacks while on the battlefield since Auel won't do anything but tease her (though he really does care about her, don't worry).Caring for her the way he does, Sting usually tries to make Stellar happy and agrees to her requests. For example, at the end of the Suit 7 Mini Drama, he agrees to play again "tomorrow" because she likes playing basketball with them, even if he is unsure if there will even be a "tomorrow" for them. Besides, he knows that their time in this universe might not be long and he wants her to enjoy life while she still can, not wanting her innocence to be taken away. She has not been hardened against life as much as he has, and he intends to keep it that way. This can possibly be the reason why he always chews Auel out when he's mean to her. Even if he's protective of Stellar, he's not overprotective. He'll let her do what she likes, for the most part, because he trusts that she'll be okay on her own and will come back. When Stellar daydreams or goes off dancing, Sting does not prevent her from doing so. If she happens to get into trouble (or go missing, as is the case), Sting will always look for her though.
Although Sting is sometimes a little mean to her (I suspect he picked it up from Auel) like when she is dancing around "like an idiot", he doesn't mind her childlike innocence and I think that he might even like that quality about her. The optimism and smile she always has off the battlefield seems to cheer him up considerably. Sting is grateful that Stellar is around to remind him that maybe he can be useful for something other than just fighting and this thought seems to have helped him keep his sanity in this cruel world. Together, they have the perfect semblance of a brother-sister relationship.
